weddings, branding, and personal life
2022 brought the five year milestone for Ali Rae Haney Photography!! 🎉 I am incredibly proud of this milestone, especially considering all the major life changes we have encountered in those five years. It’s not been easy, but it sure has been fulfilling.
This one’s a special one. Saige is Caleb’s sister and she and her boyfriend, Pat, just recently graduated from the Naval Academy. It has always been my dream to shoot “on the yard,” so I asked if she and Pat would be willing to model for me.
Every maternity session is special because the couple typically nervous with anticipation and excitement of what is to come, especially when it’s their first child. But this maternity session was EXTRA special because that guy there is one of Caleb’s best friends from high school.
Emily and Jake have basically become family at this point. Through a bridal show, an engagement session, two COVID postponements (July is OFFICIALLY the date!) and coincidentally Emily’s mom works at our financial advisor’s office and handles all the things for us…well, they’re just our people. Joan is a twin, and Courtney, my friend, married her twin brother, Jake. Jake and Courtney got married in October 2018, right when I was due with […]

With the fourth family member attending USNA currently a second class (or junior in civilian words), we have spent a lot of time there over the years. So when Hannah and Will mentioned wanting to do their engagement session in Annapolis, naturally […]
Talk about a blast from the past! I met Garrett over 10 years ago during our freshman year of college. When Madison contacted me though, it took me a second to put the pieces together! I’m so thankful we reconnected and were able to get some sweet portraits of them and their pup at Manassas Battlefield!
Hannah and Seth finally got their iconic Lincoln Memorial engagement session! But it was not without its obstacles. These two are so sweet and trusted me wholeheartedly despite having large audio and lighting equipment all across the Reflecting Pool area.
Ashtin & Josh celebrated a “half anniversary” by getting a few more portraits in their wedding attire. It was a lowkey way to be able to celebrate their love all over again, as we explored the Bon Air Memorial Rose Garden in Arlington!
