weddings, branding, and personal life
As you can see, Anne and Brandon’s engagement session was in the middle of the lush summer. So needless to say, I am behind in blogging their session. However, it will hit the press before their wedding this Sunday! These two are so extremely sweet. Anne is a high school teacher and Brandon contracts for […]
Stephanie and Zac had their engagement session back in the spring. April gave us a beautifully sunny day on the grounds of Oatlands historic house. The rolling hills of Leesburg led us straight to the secret garden which has become one of my favorite places to shoot.
Despite below freezing temperatures and uncertainty about access to the Tidal Basin during cherry blossom season, we were able to make this sweet sunrise engagement session happen…and make it look warm, despite it being 17 degrees!
Emily and Jake have basically become family at this point. Through a bridal show, an engagement session, two COVID postponements (July is OFFICIALLY the date!) and coincidentally Emily’s mom works at our financial advisor’s office and handles all the things for us…well, they’re just our people. This is the second sunrise session they have let […]
This adventurous couple braved the beach at sunrise then explored through the romantic Airlie Gardens for their eastern North Carolina engagement session.
It’s a funny story how Joan and I found each other. Back when we lived in North Carolina, I was friends with her sister-in-law…before she was her sister-in-law! Joan is a twin, and Courtney, my friend, married her twin brother, Jake. Jake and Courtney got married in October 2018, right when I was due with […]
Annapolis holds a special place in our hearts here at the Haney household. With the fourth family member attending USNA currently a second class (or junior in civilian words), we have spent a lot of time there over the years. So when Hannah and Will mentioned wanting to do their engagement session in Annapolis, naturally […]
Hannah and Seth finally got their iconic Lincoln Memorial engagement session! But it was not without its obstacles. These two are so sweet and trusted me wholeheartedly despite having large audio and lighting equipment all across the Reflecting Pool area.
Nicole and Eric have very busy schedules…naturally, considering he is a neonatologist and she is a social worker that works with mothers and families of premature babies. Scheduling their engagement session was difficult due to COVID-19 restrictions and the threat of rain, but we made it happen just in the nick of time, and it was SO worth it!
Katlin and Chris deserved this engagement session. After everything was seemingly stacked against them (rescheduling from COVID-19, to their original venue cancelling on us last minute, to delays in dresses arriving, and rain on the day of their engagement session…), the rain cleared, clouds parted, and oh man, did the sun come to play!
