weddings, branding, and personal life
COVID certainly brought the entire world some challenges, but I think it also brought us a different perspective, a way to think outside of the box when it comes to the way things “have always been done.” Kayla and Donovan’s wedding day and anniversary celebration is a perfect example of that.
Annie & Brandon’s wedding day was a beautiful documentation of their love for one another. The beginning of the day started with the bridesmaid and bridesman celebrating Annie with mimosas while having their hair and makeup done. The “bartender,” also Annie’s bridesman, even made me a mocktail to enjoy with them! It was a remarkable […]
As you can see, Anne and Brandon’s engagement session was in the middle of the lush summer. So needless to say, I am behind in blogging their session. However, it will hit the press before their wedding this Sunday! These two are so extremely sweet. Anne is a high school teacher and Brandon contracts for […]
Talk about the best of both worlds…a beautiful, rich holiday-themed wedding with brisk, but not cold November weather and sunshine. Heather and Eric got both on their wedding day!!
Joan and Brad were married on the most beautiful fall day at the end of September at the Winery at Bull Run. Joan is a nurse in the Navy, and their wedding was one of the last things they were doing on the east coast before heading to her new duty station in California! Joan […]
Fork Union, Virginia? Where is that?! Well, that place is one that is so special to my family and many other families from my hometown of Fluvanna County. Ashley is a third grade teacher, while Keith spend his days keeping us safe as a state trooper. Both living lives in service to their community, the care they display for one another and their loved ones was on display throughout their summer wedding day.
When you meet Mary and Will, you just get a sense that you will be taken care of. They have that air of Southern hospitality that shows you care and grace. They have known each other since they were 11 and 14! But get this–they didn’t start dating until her senior year of college at Virginia Tech (GO HOKIES!!). Will was persistent…every year when she came home from college, he would take her out on a date. He even told her, “I’m gonna marry you someday.” Lo and behold, he sure did make her his wife!
Despite some setbacks in the planning process of their day, Kaelyn and Tyler’s wedding day was just as beautiful as it was meaningful.
Kayla and Donovan were determined to get married on their original wedding date, so they had a micro-wedding with 19 of their closest family members and friends come together at the Historic Polegreen Church to say their vows.
