COVID certainly brought the entire world some challenges, but I think it also brought us a different perspective, a way to think outside of the box when it comes to the way things “have always been done.” Kayla and Donovan’s wedding day and anniversary celebration is a perfect example of that.
Stephanie and Zac had their engagement session back in the spring. April gave us a beautifully sunny day on the grounds of Oatlands historic house. The rolling hills of Leesburg led us straight to the secret garden which has become one of my favorite places to shoot.
Despite some setbacks in the planning process of their day, Kaelyn and Tyler’s wedding day was just as beautiful as it was meaningful.
Every maternity session is special because the couple typically nervous with anticipation and excitement of what is to come, especially when it’s their first child. But this maternity session was EXTRA special because that guy there is one of Caleb’s best friends from high school.
Despite below freezing temperatures and uncertainty about access to the Tidal Basin during cherry blossom season, we were able to make this sweet sunrise engagement session happen…and make it look warm, despite it being 17 degrees!
