Despite the Distance

Despite the Distance Photography Series

First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to fill out this questionnaire. I hope that it provides you, as well as many other military spouses, with some camaraderie, love, and fellowship. The goal is to connect military spouses with like interests, lives, and experiences so that we are even more of a close-knit community than we already are today.

Secondly, please take the time to answer the questionnaire openly and candidly. If you are chosen, I will be taking direct quotes from your questionnaire, as well as paraphrasing some of the information you provide. Marriage is tough, yet beautiful. The military lifestyle is the same. Do not spare any detail: good, bad, or ugly. It could help someone else and feel good to write it down and get it out.

If you are chosen to be featured during the month of May, Military Appreciation Month, I will be scheduling a time with you to do what I call a “lifestyle session.” The purpose of a lifestyle session is to capture you in your most natural state—what that natural state is, is up to you!

Thank you again for your time and participation! Much love to all my fellow military spouses!

This will have no bearing on whether you are chosen. I simply want to make sure I have a balance between all ranks, so it’s a true representation of military life.

To which categories do you belong?

For example, if you are a stay-at-home mom, tell me how many little ones you have and if you are a boy mom, girl mom, or both!

Which one of those categories would you like to highlight about who you are as a military spouse?

If so, what are they?

If you want to give us her name and/or email address, we can also include her in this great showcase of strength among military spouses!
