Where do I begin with Emily and Jake? We have been through it all together…a pandemic, moves, postponements…I have even had a second baby since these two booked me back in the fall of 2019 for what was supposed to be their summer 2020 wedding. Alas, two years later, they got the celebration they have meticulously planned [three times] and that they so, so deserve.

Ashley is a third grade teacher, while Keith spend his days keeping us safe as a state trooper. Both living lives in service to their community, the care they display for one another and their loved ones was on display throughout their summer wedding day.

When you meet Mary and Will, you just get a sense that you will be taken care of. They have that air of Southern hospitality that shows you care and grace. They have known each other since they were 11 and 14! But get this–they didn’t start dating until her senior year of college at Virginia Tech (GO HOKIES!!). Will was persistent…every year when she came home from college, he would take her out on a date. He even told her, “I’m gonna marry you someday.” Lo and behold, he sure did make her his wife!
