weddings, branding, and personal life
2020 was a gray cloud, but it certainly did have its silver linings. While I was initially discouraged looking back on the year, with some introspection I realized that amended goals are not failed goals. Many lessons were learned and accomplishments were made, and I could not be more thankful for my clients, family, and friends!
Our first destination wedding to the Windy City of Chicago! With a beautiful bride, a dapper Navy groom, some Greek traditions, and the Chicago skyline as our backdrop, this day was one for the books!
Classic. Timeless. Elegant. Three words that describe Alli and Corbett’s DC wedding where they married themselves and shared the most heartfelt first look with one another. From her French twist to her simply, yet stunning bridal look, Alli embodied class and grace.
Despite rain (hey, it’s good luck, right?) and COVID impacting their wedding day, Meagan and Sean were the happiest couple ever to get married! From their first look to their sparkler exit, these two were smitten the entire time!
Talk about a blast from the past! I met Garrett over 10 years ago during our freshman year of college. When Madison contacted me though, it took me a second to put the pieces together! I’m so thankful we reconnected and were able to get some sweet portraits of them and their pup at Manassas Battlefield!
On a beautiful October day, Katlin and Chris were married at a family friend’s private residence. The blush and champagne touches throughout the day made for some beautiful images for a beautiful couple.
Danny & Tierney celebrated their fall wedding with their closest family and friends after pivoting their wedding plans, just like many 2020 couples have had to do. They were able to get married on the most popular date of the year, 10/10/2020, and incorporated the fall and Harry Potter into their wedding decor!
Despite a pandemic and a tropical storm, Nicole and Eric’s love persevered. Their hearts are those of servants and that is apparent not only in the professions, but also in the attentive care they took to make sure their guests remained healthy while celebrating their wedding day!
Hannah and Seth finally got their iconic Lincoln Memorial engagement session! But it was not without its obstacles. These two are so sweet and trusted me wholeheartedly despite having large audio and lighting equipment all across the Reflecting Pool area.
