As a prior English teacher, I love telling each of my couple's love story. Each story is unique and in a culmination of love and a little planning, the wedding day brings that love to life in front of family and friends. As a lover of heirlooms and legacies, it's a joy to be alongside each of my couples as they create memories that will last forever for their children and grandchildren!

Taylor and I originally hit it off because we were both English teachers. At that point she was still in the classroom, but not totally happy and I wholeheartedly understood her story. I also know how much support from Andrew that takes when she was in that position trying to decided if she was going to leave the classroom. There’s a happy ending to this story in multiple ways though–not only was Andrew supportive throughout that transition time, but they also got to get married after her transition to a new career!

These two met in college when he “crashed” her 21st birthday party. Fast forward a few years, and they were getting engaged on the beach! On June 25th, they took the final step toward forever!

Taylor and Andrew tied the knot on a beautiful June evening at Belle’s Pleasure in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Her bouquet by Nana Floral was stunning with vibrant summer colors, variations of pink, white, and pops of yellow. I loved how it was so romantic to compliment her lace-embossed gown with off the shoulder straps and the blush bridesmaids gowns. Andrew and his groomsmen were looking dapper as well in their gray tuxes that were perfect for their summer wedding.

Their ceremony was particularly special because Andrew’s grandfather was the officiant. They wrote their own vows. Without having read them to one another beforehand, they both recited that they would never watch an episode of their shows without the other, which I thought was so cute…shows how well they know one another!

Belle’s Pleasure was a beautiful backdrop for their wedding day. We did portraits all over the property–by the pond in multiple locations, by the main event barn, and by the bridal suite. Seriously, we could not go wrong whichever way we turned. It was the perfect size for an intimate celebration that allowed guests to spread out from the event barn to the dock to the tented reception area. Some guests enjoyed cake, while others were on the dance floor, and the gentlemen were on the dock enjoying a celebratory cigar together! I loved seeing the party that Taylor and Andrew provided in celebration of their love!

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Clinton! Thank you so much for including me in your special day!
