30 years. That’s the amount of time Christi spent in the floral business. She built an extremely successful business despite every type of obstacle that could be thrown at her. Her business survived recessions and fluctuations in the wedding industry. Regardless, her business persevered due to her hard work and her business knowledge.
Once she determined that she wanted to transition into the educational world of the floral industry, she sold her business and switched gears. She is now the founder of the course “The Business of Flowers” where she helps other new and aspiring florists set up their businesses in a way to make them as profitable and sustainable as possible.
She has combined both her love for flowers and her love for serving others into one beautiful new business, so it was only fitting that we have a branding session noting the official launch of her course!
While I want Christi to be able to use her own brand and platform to explain the reasons why she chose certain props, I have to showcase one in particular because I feel like I’m currently walking through the path she was describing. She mentioned bringing a puzzle to her branding session so that she could use the analogy of each piece of your business being a piece of a puzzle. If one piece is missing, then your business is incomplete. I’ve been in business for over three years now, and admittedly, I feel like I’m still occasionally finding pieces I didn’t realize were missing!
Christi’s business knowledge is so vast that I have learned from it even though we have different specialties. One of the best things I learned about Christi throughout the planning and execution of her branding session is her positivity and encouragement she provides to those that are in her courses. She truly believes that each business presents a journey of its own and is ready to go on that journey with her students!
