As a prior English teacher, I love telling each of my couple's love story. Each story is unique and in a culmination of love and a little planning, the wedding day brings that love to life in front of family and friends. As a lover of heirlooms and legacies, it's a joy to be alongside each of my couples as they create memories that will last forever for their children and grandchildren!

Quantico Photography Location Bucket List

Part of the military lifestyle is moving often. Thankfully we get to see so many new, beautiful places. While my husband’s time in the military has kept us on the east coast, we were able to experience the beauty of the North Carolina beaches and all that Sneads Ferry and North Topsail Beach has to offer.

We are now back at Quantico for the second time. It’s really easy to find the negative things with this duty station—like traffic and…traffic. But I also have found that this is a really beautiful place to explore and grow a business. There is so much city, but also some country not too far out from Stafford!

So…I have put together some places that I would love to shoot. If any of these places sound appealing to you, reach out to me to schedule a session. I am happy to give some small discounts in return for allowing me to shoot at breathtaking locations!

  1. Marine Corps Museum

  2. Lincoln Memorial / Washington Monument

  3. Jefferson Memorial

  4. Mount Vernon

  5. National Arboretum

  6. Brookside Gardens

  7. United States Naval Academy

  8. The Library of Congress

  9. National Museum of Art

  10. Swannanoa Palace

  11. Pippin Hill

  12. Great Marsh Estate

  13. Maymont Park

  14. Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens

  15. Raven’s Roost Overlook

  16. Abandoned Renaissance Gardens (or so I hear they exist…)

It is crazy that I am from just a few miles down the road (Charlottesville, Virginia…well, Fluvanna County, to be exact), and I haven’t gotten the chance to shoot at or even visit some of these locations!

Whenever you are up for it, let’s explore a new area together, make some memories, and capture some moments in the process!
