Few things are as empowering for a woman as empowering other women. I think I found my photography sweet spot, y’all—boudoir photography. I thought it would be way too personal for me…I wouldn’t be natural with directing my client, so in turn the pictures would look awkward and stiff. Let me tell you, it was anything but that, and I think the client would say the same as well!

We put on some tunes, popped open a bottle of wine, and enjoyed our time together making her feel beautiful one shutter click at a time! I even showed her the photos from my own boudoir shoot from a few years ago, so she didn’t feel like she was the only one that had taken her clothes off for the camera before.

When I heard her say, “I didn’t know what to expect from this experience, but I had so much fun,” I knew I was in the right spot (literally and figuratively). After this shoot, she now feels even more empowered about her body image, and she has some beautiful photographs to deliver to her soon-to-be husband on their wedding day…what a surprise for him!
